Non-Discrimination Policy

The Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) has a notice of nondiscrimination on its webpage.

Grievance Procedures

The MDNR page includes a Notice Regarding the Americans with Disabilities Act, Grievance Procedures under the Americans with Disabilities Act, an External Complaint Response Policy, and an External Complaint of Discrimination Form.

Enhanced Public Participation and Information Access

Language Access

The MDNR has notices that are available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Croatian, and Vietnamese. However, the MDNR does not appear to have a Limited English Proficiency Plan.

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MSDOT) has a Limited English Proficiency plan, which states that it will make efforts to increase communication with LEP populations and take action to close language barriers. MSDOT states that it provides free interpretation and translation services and provides notification of those services. However, there very few specific procedures listed, and most of the language appears to repeat federal guidance.
